Getting to know the next generation of breakthrough leaders. Meet Dennis Berkhof and Marco van der Werf (MDE242)

Minter Dialogue with Dennis Berkhof and Marco van der Werf

Dennis Berkhof and Marco Van Der WerfDennis Berkhof and Marco van der Werf are the co-founders of BIT Students Foundation, based in Amsterdam, a not-for-profit way for students to learn to code for free. The Bit Students “campus” is located inside the very original Student Hotel. On the heels of their successful venture, Dennis and Marco are now looking to start the equivalent of Ecole 42 (the famous coding school started by Xavier Niel in Paris) in Amsterdam in collaboration with Corinne Vigreux, the founder of TomTom. In this conversation, we look at their adventures, how education should improve, the world of new tech through the eyes of two aspiring geeky 26-year-olds, as well as how businesses could be better collaborating with startups.

Below, you’ll find the show notes and, of course, you are invited to comment. If you liked the podcast, please take a moment to go over to iTunes to rate the podcast.
